On this installment of the “Podcast of Tomorrow!” (copyright pending), Mark eats blueberries while he breaks important news about The Witcher 3. Meanwhile Gibby begins his Dragon Quest and tries to support his local modding scene. Atlus RPGs, Planetside 2, PS+ games are also discussed.
The story of Driveclub+ comes to a (hopeful) close, while Mark travels the expanse of a mysterious ocean and Kyle waxes some thoughts on metal. Included topics: Tim Burton, BLUR, and the perplexing allure of survival games.
This week, Mark tells his tale of tales about his exploits in Legend of Grimrock II while Gibby comes down from the rush of E3 announcements. Other discussions include (but are not limited by): the Taken King kerfuffle, Xbox One’s new found power of time travel, and interactive exploration games.
While Gibby continues his descent into the Descent series, Mark parses his thoughts on his ongoing exploits as The Saints. Other topics include: Bethesda boldly announcing Brotherhood of Steel 2, a reemerging war between graphics card developers, and forming the Unofficial Dandelion Appreciation Club (working title).
For our 10th (TENTH!!!!) installment, we have mashed together two sessions for one ultra podcast! In this uber-installment of Magna Cartridge, Mark embraces his inner Saint while Kyle embraces his inner Southern persona. Also included: More Witcher, the virtues of live action cut scenes, the Descent series, the perils of going to nerd culture, and Simon Pegg. Seriously a lot of stuff.
On the precipice of the arrival of a certain white haired individual, Mark traverses the Galaxy in order to find peace in the Battle of Digital Distribution while Kyle has issues making his voice about The Witcher’s 2nd chapter heard. Maybe he was too sad about the death of his beloved Playstation 3. RIP PS3 2008-2015.
This week Mark haughtily takes on the Sun while Kyle comes to terms with his Witching destiny. The two also obey traffic laws, take some pills, weigh in on the over importance of critic aggregate sites, and contemplate the many uses of J-Pop. Good stuff.
This week Mark and Gibby do not visit Silent Hillszzzz. They explore dungeons on their desktops, analyze the importance of the word “bitch”, manage their expectations with the impending Star Wars: Battlefront, and join the rest of the internet in speculating wildly about the current state of Konami. Also KOOOOJIIIIIIMAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This week Kyle returns as the One and Mark contemplates a life of spoken rhymes. They also discuss modern and topical subjects such as the Sixth Console Generation, modding Baldur’s Gate, and playing through Halo for the first time. Also they race jets.
After much deliberating and trouble-shooting, we’ve decided to make MagnaCartridge.net the official host of the podcast. However, we will continue to use our Soundcloud ( https://soundcloud.com/magnacartridge ) to host the most recent 6 hours of our episodes.
